Wielton Group's new company - Wielton Defence will present its solutions for the first time at the 32-nd MSPO in Kielce

Wielton Defence - a new company forming part of the renowned Wielton Group - is responsible for providing transport solutions dedicated to the defence sector. It will be possible to get acquainted with the company's offer for the first time during the 32-nd International Defence Industry Exhibition MSPO in Kielce at stand ZB-15. The event will be held on 03-06 September this year.

Wielton Defence's mission is to provide logistical and transport support to military units. In its operations, the company focuses on development and innovation to meet the rapidly changing requirements of today's transport sector, as well as the defence sector. This enables it to provide equipment that is not only robust but also ready to operate in the most difficult conditions. The establishment of Wielton Defence has allowed the Group to expand its product portfolio with a range of further specialised transport solutions in the form of, among others, low-beds, container semi-loaders, platform military semi-trailers and trailers, mobile containers or special bodies.

- The launch of Wielton Defence is one element of the organic growth of the Wielton Group. We are prepared to produce semi-trailers with a GVW of over 50 tonnes thanks to our state-of-the-art research and development facilities and machinery park. This allows us to design and manufacture vehicles that meet the highest safety and efficiency standards and meet all the strict requirements for semi-trailers, trailers and bodies transporting military equipment and machinery.
-– said Paweł Szataniak, CEO of the Wielton Group.

During September's 32-nd edition of MSPO at the Kielce Trade Fair, Wielton Defence will present the LB6 6-axle low-bed semi-trailer at stand ZB-15. The semi-trailer is dedicated to transporting vehicles, machinery and sea containers (1x20‘ or 1x30’) and can transport military vehicles, construction equipment and heavy technical structures. High manoeuvrability in transport is provided by the 4 hydraulically steering axles at the rear.  The unladen weight of the vehicle is 18,500 kg, with an administrative gross vehicle weight of 85 tonnes (the technical maximum permissible weight of the semi-trailer is 97 tonnes). The overall length of the product is 14,770 mm, of which the length of the loading platform is 11,000 mm. The durability of the vehicle is guaranteed by the construction made of high-strength steel and the anti-corrosion protection applied in the form of an additional zinc coating applied by metallization. The loading deck, which is covered with an anti-slip sheet, is equipped with 10 pairs of load securing lugs of 10,000 daN and three pairs of lugs of 16,000 daN each, as well as stoppers to regulate the positioning of the heaviest vehicles in position for optimum weight distribution on the deck, so that the semi-trailer can transport both wheeled and tracked vehicles.

- The 32-nd International Defence Industry Exhibition MSPO is a prestigious event of the defence industry, where exhibitors from all over the world present the latest developments in the military field. The participation of the newly established Wielton Defence company in this year's fair in Kielce is therefore a great opportunity to present the company's offer, including our flagship product - the six-axle LB6 low-bed semi-trailer, which can be used, among other things, to transport heavy equipment. I am convinced that the discussions at the fair will contribute to the establishment of new cooperation.
-– added Roman Ruchniak, Managing Director of the Wielton Defence.

The team responsible for developing Wielton Defence has many years of experience in the defence sector. Their knowledge of the industry and their expertise in this area add value to the operation of the new entity within the Wielton Group. In production, the company uses high-end components and the latest technology and adheres to the highest manufacturing standards. The certificates obtained in accordance with international military standards are a guarantee of their reliability and durability. Comprehensive after-sales support, vehicle servicing and service training programmes are provided by Aberg Service.
