Doğuş Otomotiv dealer for Wielton vehicles in Turkey

In line with the 2023-2027 strategy presented at the end of October, Wielton S.A. is expanding into new markets. Thanks to the establishment of cooperation with new dealer Doğuş Otomotiv, the vehicles of the Wielton manufacturer will also be available in Turkey in the coming years.

Market expansion is one of the goals of the recently published Wielton Group Strategy. Wielton has, among other things, started to implement its plans by entering into cooperation with a Turkish dealer, who will handle the introduction of Wielton vehicles to the Turkish market. The company is currently preparing a sales offer. Further cooperation envisages, among other things, the creation of a sales structure and a broad network of dealerships and service points.

- We have been in talks with Doğuş Otomotiv for some time. The result of many meetings is that we have established cooperation and will introduce Wielton vehicles to the Turkish market in the coming years. In addition to the creation of a sales structure or a broad dealer and service network, the cooperation in the future also involves the possibility of selling the complete solution, i.e. a truck tractor with a Wielton semi-trailer and the service for the vehicles.

Doğuş Otomotiv provides authorised sales and service for VW, Audi, Porsche, SEAT, CUPRA, Skoda car brands and is the exclusive distributor of SCANIA truck tractors in Turkey. Doğuş Otomotiv maintains a leading position in the industry thanks to its strength and stability. It has 27 authorised sales points and 26 service points and employs more than 2,000 people. Annually, the company sells more than 100,000 VW Group vehicles and more than 3,000 Scania truck tractors.

In the middle of November 2023, representatives of the top management of Doğuş Otomotiv, including the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Dogus Group and the Group's largest shareholder, Mr Ferit F. Şahenk, had the opportunity to visit Wielton's production facilities in Wielton and learn about the production processes, manufacturing technologies used by the Polish manufacturer. During the visit, there were also discussions on cooperation potential and the presentation of the product portfolio.

We are a company focused on development, automation and robotisation of processes and the implementation of new technologies. We are therefore pleased that representatives of Doğuş Otomotiv found time to come to Wieluń and get to know our factories from the inside. Together with Doğuş Otomotiv, we are planning to start sales on the Turkish market and gradually develop them, gaining market share step by step in the next few years, in line with Wielton S.A.'s new strategy.
