In line with its sales strategy in the Scandinavian market, Wielton has established a dealer agreement with Närko. The dealer will be responsible for selling the Polish manufacturer's vehicles in Norway, Sweden and Finland, while Wielton Scandinavia A/S will directly serve customers from Denmark and key Scandinavian customers.
- We started talks with Närko in the fourth quarter of last year. Since then we have had many meetings and discussions, which have resulted in the signing of a dealer agreement. At Wielton, which is one of the three largest manufacturers of semi-trailers, trailers and bodies in Europe, we are focused on providing the highest quality vehicles and services. Thanks to the cooperation with the new dealer, we will be able to better understand and respond to the needs of local customers.
– said Jacek Stokowski, Export Director Wielton S.A.
- We are very excited to embark on a joint journey with Wielton as we feel that we together can combine a set of strengths to develop the presence and portfolio of both companies in the Nordics. By leveraging Närko's market position and our network and being able to offer a wide range of Wielton products we will be able to bring new cost competitive and good quality products to the Nordics. Wielton, Närko and most of all the market will all benefit from our cooperation and we are looking forward to engaging with all customers.
– said Nicklas Pärus, Managing Director of Närko.
- Intensive meetings over the past year have made it possible for both parties to align mutual needs and expectations for the cooperation. An important part of the process was also the mutual visits, where representatives from both companies had the opportunity to see each other's facilities, production methods, and high standards of quality. Närko is well established in Finland, Sweden, and Norway, and it is in these countries that the cooperation will be implemented. We are aware of the need to provide the highest level of after-sales service, with efficient supply of spare parts being a priority. The collaboration with Närko and Aberg Service will ensure improved service with high quality in the Nordic countries. We are convinced that the cooperation will be beneficial for each of the parties.
- added Kim Aaskov, Managing Director of Wielton Scandinavia A/S.
